Beloved Father And Grandfather
Wilbur P. Miller, 80, of Grants Pass, Ore., previously of Bridgeport, died November 25, at Royale Gardens Health & Rehab. He was born in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, March 14, 1930, and was the son of Mary (Kershner) and Carl Miller.
He is survived by his three children, including Mary Ann Czel, and her husband Jim, of Newtown; his three grandchildren; and three siblings. A son, Matthew Miller, predeceased him.
 Mr Miller was employed for many years at Bridgeport Machines. He was a member of the Connecticut National Guard and was awarded the State of Connecticut Long Service Medal in 1958.
His interests included ballroom dancing, writing poetry, photography, travel, nature and wildlife, and the St Louis Cardinals. He also was a volunteer baseball coach. The twinkle in his eye, his quick wit, and love of conversation will be remembered by all who knew him.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
