Torpedoes’ Swimming Results

The Newtown Torpedoes’ swimming team opened the season with a 311-249 win at Naugatuck on November 20. Double event winners were Georgia Filter Calvo, Peter Fagerholm, Layton Harrell, Hana Rosenthal, Anthony Vournazos, Matt Argraves, and Annika Fagerholm.

On December 4, the Torpedoes lost to the always-strong Watertown team, 487-170. Outstanding swims were recorded by junior swimmers Shayna Millard, Isaiah Williams, Rachel Tramposch, and senior Seth Barrett.
