Cherished Father And Grandfather

Thomas J. Kelleher, 69, of Danbury, died December 4, at Sharon Hospital. He was born in Bronx, N.Y., December 17, 1940, son of Mary (Donovan) and Daniel Kelleher.

He will be sadly missed by his former wife and caregiver, Peggy Kelleher of Danbury; five children, including his son, Thomas D. Kelleher, and his wife Patty, of Sandy Hook; and his six grandchildren.

Mr Kelleher worked as a custodial engineer for the New York City Board of Education. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Danbury. He was an avid sports fan, especially football and the New York Giants. He enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, playing Solitaire, and sharing snacks with his grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 7. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
