At Love & Knishes

SOUTHBURY — The next Love & Knishes Lunch program at The Federation-Jewish Communities of Western Connecticut will begin at noon on Tuesday, December 14.

Pianist and baritone Wes Thouin will presents “High School Memories” with musical selections spanning the Great American Songbook through the 1960s. Mr Thouin is classically trained and a student of popular culture, and he has experience with everything from symphony orchestras and musical theater to solo performing.

His melodies, lyrics, and historical comments will transport guests back to the happiest of younger days.

Lunches are prepared by Jordan Caterers of Cheshire. Reservations are requested by Friday, December 10. Call Debby Horowitz, Brownstein Jewish Family Service director, at 203-267-3177, extension 105, for reservations and additional information.

All programs are open to the public, and there is a suggested donation of $7.50 for adults age 60 and over.

Starting in January, Love & Knishes events will be switched to Wednesdays. The Federation is at 444 Main Street North (Route 67/6).
