John E. Bouteiller, 80, of Danbury, beloved husband of Elayne Marie (DeGrosse) Bouteiller, died at Danbury Hospital, December 1. He was born in Danbury, July 29, 1930, son of Louise (Rogers) and Eugene G. Bouteiller.
In addition to his cherished wife of 59 years, he will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Renee and Michele, and son-in-law Michael Hossan. His brother, Roger Bouteiller, and his wife Anne Marie, of Newtown; his sister, Jeanne Wilkins of Pennsylvania; his two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews survive him, as well. He was predeceased by his son, Mark J. Bouteiller.
Mr Bouteiller owned and operated Franâs Barbershop in Danbury from 1968 until his retirement in 2007. He worked for Barden Corp for 16 years. He was past secretary/treasurer for the local Barbers Union and a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Mr Bouteiller was an avid gardener of both flowers and vegetables. He also enjoyed playing cards with old friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 6. Burial followed in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
