Adopt A Kitten Or Cat

The following cats and kittens are available for adoption through The Animal Center:

MACI & MACKENZIE are friendly kittens who are approximately 3 1/2 months old. For the last two months, they suffered from a serious upper respiratory infection that nearly claimed their eye sight, but the kitties are feeling so much better now. The vet says their eyes may always have a moist look to them, but they’ve been given a clean bill of health and are ready for adoption. These kittens may be adopted together or separately. They are spayed and current on vaccines.

FIONA is a very friendly, purry and affectionate 4-month-old kitten for adoption. Her petite from and angular features suggest she has some Siamese heritage in her. She would adjust easily to a new home environment. Fiona is spayed and current on vaccines.

HOLLY was rescued by a caring Newtown resident over Labor Day Weekend. She had a terrible upper respiratory infection and had been living in a home that had too many cats, none of which were being cared for. Holly has gotten the vet care she needed and is happy to be alive and well. She plays like crazy and can’t wait to find a loving home to call her own. Holly is spayed, healthy, and current on vaccines.

SHAYNA is a beautiful, young tortoiseshell kitty. She was left behind when her owners were evicted from their home and could not take her with them. Shayna loves attention and would make a great companion for anyone looking to adopt a loving kitty. She is spayed, healthy, current on vaccines, and litterbox trained.

BEAU was found on a family’s deck this November. He ran to the family as soon as the door was opened, and made kitty call sounds. He is incredibly friendly, easy going, well-behaved and an all-around great kitty. The family has checked with neighbors and put up posters, but no one has claimed him. Animal Center officials are not sure if he was left behind when his owners moved or if he was abandoned on this country road in Newtown. He is approximately a year old, in excellent health, neutered, and current on vaccines.

SAMANTHA is a friendly and affectionate adult calico for adoption. She was left behind when her owners moved. She loves to be petted and would be a wonderful addition to any home looking for a sweet feline companion. She is spayed, healthy, and current on vaccines.

COLTRANE came from a family whose cat had kittens. The family just moved into the area and the landlord threatened eviction if they didn’t find a place for Coltrane. Animal Center officials were glad to take this little guy in. Coltrane loves to eat, play, and love. He is just over three months old, neutered, healthy, and current on vaccines.

Good news: Smuckers, Spice Man, and Sid have been adopted.

To adopt, contact info@theanimalcenter.org or 203-270-0228 (email best on weekends).
