Mr and Mrs Scott A. Hatherley

Stephanie Nicole Licht and Scott Allen Hatherley were married on September 11 at Weekapaug Chapel in Weekapaug, R.I., with Justice of the Peace William Walsh officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Peter and Susan Licht of Newtown. The groom is the son of James and Irene Hatherley of Westborough, Mass.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Dr Peter Licht.

She wore a strapless ivory silk satin gown with bodice appliquéd with seed pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangea with pink-tipped white roses.

The maid of honor was Kim Gardner, a friend of the bride, of Boston, Mass., formerly of Newtown.

Her bridesmaids were Paula Bresnahan of Brookline, Mass; Christine Corkery, sister-in-law of the bride, of Boston; Susan Cushman of New Canaan; Clare Kinney of Brookline,; Melanie Maguire of Somerville, Mass.; and Stephanie McGovern of New York City.

The attendants wore tea length strapless raspberry silk satin dresses. The maid of honor carried a bouquet of antique sage hydrangea accented with raspberry snapdragons. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of antique sage hydrangea.

Macaela Wright, cousin of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. She wore a pale sage organdy dress.

The best man was Ronald Bates, friend of the groom, of Concord, N.H.

The ushers were Dennis Corkery, brother-in-law of the groom, of Boston; Brian Cusson of Concord, N.H.; Daniel Federman of Alexandria, Va.; Christopher Licht, brother of the bride, of San Francisco, Calif., formerly of Newtown; Ian McPherson of Newton, Mass.; and Robert Simcoe of Concord, Mass.

A reception followed at The Weekapaug Inn.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1992; Lafayette College,  Easton, Penn., with a bachelor of arts in psychology in 1996; and the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1999 with a master of science in physical therapy. She is a physical therapist at ProSports Therapy in Waltham, Mass.

The groom graduated from Westborough High School, Westborough, Mass. in 1993; Cornell University in 1997 with a bachelor of science in biochemistry; and the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1999 with a master

 of science in biomedical sciences. He is a consultant for Equinox Group in Lexington, Mass.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Brookline, Mass.
