Fitz Family To Perform At Christ The King

A family troupe of jugglers with a special Christian message will be giving a special Advent season performance this Sunday, December 12, at 7 pm, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 85 Mt Pleasant Road.

The hourlong program combines story-telling and various kinds of juggling and balancing activities with a good deal of humor.

The Fitz family has been touring for a number of years in the United States and Canada, performing in churches and at schools, at fairs and festivals, and for conventions and gatherings. They were at Christ the King four years ago in conjunction with the parish’s 40th anniversary celebration and were so well received that this return engagement was planned back then. The family-oriented group’s purpose is “to encourage people to discover, celebrate and use their unique gifts in the Lord’s service.”

Each Fitz Family performance utilizes members in the audience as part of the presentation. There is no charge for the performance, but a free-will offering will be received to support Kenya Outreach Mission offering being gathered by the parish in this season for African medical and evangelism outreach in cooperation with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya.
