Art Classes At NMS

“Paint, Draw & More!” will offer its winter schedules on Wednesday afternoons.

Children’s drawing classes with Susan Jackson will be offered at Newtown Middle School. Winter Session 1 will run January 5 through February 9, and Winter Session 2 will run March 2 through April 6.

Classes are held from 4 pm to 5 pm for ages 5 through 8, and 5 to 6 pm for ages 9 through 13. Cost is $94 for the six-week session.

Children will learn to draw in a non judgmental, nurturing environment. They will use a variety of materials to draw what they see and to enhance their drawings with their own creative ideas.

Drawing concepts like design, shading, and perspective will all be taught. All materials are included.
