The Flagpole Photographers Camera Club reminds readers that its annual “Newtown & Beyond” exhibition of photographs by members is on view at Newtown Municipal Center, showcasing the finest work from club members.

The exhibit runs through December 30, with many pieces available for purchase. Visitors are welcome to stop by weekdays between 8 am and 4:30 pm, or during evening Town Board and Commission meetings, to enjoy the art.

Regular programming resumes next month with a session on “Taking Your Photography to the Next Level” on Thursday, January 9, from 7:30 to 9 pm, at Newtown Senior Center, 8 Simpson Street.

The club’s popular “Leaders & Learners” program will also return in the new year, offering participants a chance to collaborate with experienced photographers in small groups and apply new skills to their own photography. Stay tuned for more details.

Flagpole Photographers Camera Club is a local nonprofit organization that offers a welcoming space for photographers of all skill levels — from beginners to professionals — to share their work, learn, and connect with others.
