Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down
Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down
To the Editor:
Thumbs up to the three good Samaritans who stopped to help my daughter after she fainted on the sidewalk in front of Quest Diagnostics, Sand Hill Plaza, on Monday, November 28. She had just left the Quest office after having blood work done.
Thank you so much for coming to her assistance and staying with her until her dad arrived. It is wonderful people like you who make it âNicer in Newtown.â
Thumbs down to the Quest employee who ushered my daughter out the door, locked the door behind her and ignored the pounding on that locked door. She claimed my daughter was not her responsibility since she was no longer in the Quest building when she fainted and hit her head on the sidewalk outside their door.
Legally right? Maybe. Morally wrong? Definitely.
