Regional Hospice, Home Care Web Resource Guide Launched

DANBURY — Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut, Inc, announces its new website — www.regionalhospicect.org — which incorporates its message of hope with important information about end-of-life issues and options.

“We have created an interactive and content-rich website that patients and their families can use as a resource to answer their questions about palliative home care and hospice care,” said Cynthia Roy Squitieri, president and chief executive officer of Regional Hospice and Home Care. “The new website takes a sensitive subject and brings it to people’s own homes, where they can review the information and have many of their questions answered.”

The new site features information about what palliative and hospice care is, how Regional Hospice and Home Care can help those with advanced illnesses, and shares stories of hope, news, upcoming events and other information.

It is designed for use by patients, their caregivers and families, volunteers and donors, and physicians, who can access research on end-of-life care and even make confidential and secure patient referrals directly on the website.

The new site is the latest technological update for Regional Hospice and Home Care, which also maintains a Twitter feed @real_hope and a Facebook page at facebook.com/RegionalHospice.

“We hope that the site, which will be ever-evolving and updated, will give patients and their families real hope and real answers to their questions about end-of-life care,” said Ms Roy Squitieri. “We want to be a resource and provide a comprehensive guide to those who are experiencing illness and loss.”

Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut offers real hope for those facing advanced illness through patient-focused care, education, resources, and advocacy.

The agency helps patients and families discover what end-of-life care can be — what can be gained, what can be realized and what can be recaptured. For more information, visit www.RegionalHospiceCT.org or call 203-702-7400.
