Living Nativity, Saturday Evening

St Rose parish members invite the public to join them for their Living Nativity, an annual celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ presented on parish grounds at 38 Church Hill Road.

This year’s event will be Saturday, December 10. In a small stable located near the church’s Religious Education office, parishioners will re-create the night that Jesus was born, following a tradition started by St Francis of Assisi. The outdoor program includes live animals, angels, shepherds, kings, Mary, Joseph, and of course, a baby Jesus.

The program begins at 6:30 (immediately following 5:30 Mass), and refreshments are served in the parish hall following the reenactment. Snow date will be Sunday, December 11.
