Wintertime Parking Ban In Effect

The wintertime overnight parking ban on town roads will remain in effect until March 15, according to police.

A town ordinance bans the parking of vehicles on local roads from sunset to sunrise from November 15 through March 15. The presence of such vehicles can interfere with snow clearing operations, according to police.

Vehicles that are illegally parked may be towed away by the town at the owner’s expense. Vehicle storage fees may also apply. Violators of the parking ban are subject to $49 fines.
