University Hosts Open Advising And Registration Event

FAIRFIELD — University College at Fairfield University offers a wide range of part-time bachelor degree completion programs, and certificate programs, as well as personal and professional enrichment courses for adults of all ages. To showcase its course offerings for the spring semester, Fairfield will host an Open Advising and Registration event Tuesday, January 9, from noon to 7 pm, at The Aloysius P. Kelley, SJ, Center on the Fairfield campus.

University College’s academic advisors will be available at this event to provide information about bachelor degree completion programs in the subject areas of accounting, communication, marketing, professional studies, and a wide range of other liberal arts majors. Certificate program information will be provided in the areas of real estate, interior design, financial planning, and human resource management. For lifelong learners seeking enrichment, there are courses in art history, politics, literature, religious studies, and a wide range of other subjects.

Classes are offered in flexible and convenient day, evening, weekend, and online formats that are compatible with the busy lifestyles of working adults. Attendees can bring their transcripts to receive advising to map out a plan of study all the way to graduation. Course registration will be available on site during the event. Fairfield University’s spring semester begins on January 16.
