To the Editor:

There is a dangerous intersection created from the new traffic patterns at exit 11.

Cars traveling from Route 34 and heading to 84 Westbound intersect with cars from Wasserman Way heading to 84 Eastbound. Great care must be taken by both drivers of oncoming traffic from the other. In addition, visibility of oncoming traffic is limited. There is no warning of this merge.

Some type of warning of this merge is needed, whether it be stop lights, yellow warning lights, warning signs, etc before an accident (God forbid a fatality) occurs.

Hopefully, someone from the state traffic department will read this and alert those responsible for addressing this situation.
