Warrant
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Tyler Brinton, 42, of 14 Queen Street turned himself in at the police station on the evening of November 30, and was charged with violation of a restraining order, police report.
The warrant stems from a September 30 incident, police said.
Police released Brinton from custody on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on December 3.
DUI Charge
Police report that they saw motorist John Lewandowski, 62, of Monroe crossing the roadâs center line and shoulder line while traveling southward on South Main Street late on the night of November 30, so they stopped him to investigate.
Police then charged Lewandowksi with driving under the influence and with failure to drive to the right.
After processing, police released Lewandowksi on $100 bail for a December 13 court appearance.

Sugar Street Crash
Police report that motorist Daniel Hatt, 52, of Bethel was driving a 2002 GMC Sierra pickup truck westward near 24 Sugar Street (Route 302), when a deer ran onto the road, resulting in a collision about 10:40 pm November 28. The deer died in the accident. Hatt was not injured.
Ford Into Rail
About 12:22 pm November 29, motorist C. Marin Padilla, 28, of Danbury was driving a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck on Berkshire Road (Route 34), near Pole Bridge Road, when a noncontact vehicle came to an abrupt stop for traffic, which was stopped on the road, police said.
Padilla was unable to stop the Ford in time and so swerved to the right, went into a skid and then sideswiped a metal guardrail along the right road shoulder, police said.
Padilla was not injured, police said. Padilla received a verbal warning for following too closely, police said.
Saab Vs Volkswagen
Police report a two-car accident on Berkshire Road about 12:05 pm on December 2.
Eastbound motorist Elyse Rabinoff, 19, of Woodbridge, who was driving a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit coupe, encountered some traffic that had slowed, so she applied her brakes, police said.
Eastbound motorist Jessica Ulrich, 26, of Morris, who was driving a 1995 Saab 900-SE sedan, then struck the Volkswagen from behind, police said.
There were no injuries. Police said that Ulrich failed to keep a reasonable distance apart.
Highway Crash
State police report that at about 9:46 pm December 2, motorist Fatbardha Mamudi, 25, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., was driving a 2003 Hummer H-2 SUV eastward on Interstate 84, west of Exit 9, when she swerved in order to avoid colliding with an unknown tractor-trailer truck, which was changing travel lanes.
The Hummer then rolled onto its left side, state police said. Mamudi was not injured. State police took no enforcement because the identity of the tractor-trailer truck driver is unknown.
I-84 Accident
During inclement winter weather about 9:40 pm December 2, motorist Joseph Hamel, 18, of Bethlehem was driving a 1998 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck westward on Interstate 84, near Exit 11, when he lost control of the vehicle and struck some guard cabling, state police said. Hamel was not injured. Hamel was verbally warned for traveling too fast for conditions, according to state police.

DUI Arrest
Police said they received a call about 10 pm on December 2, reporting that there was a disabled motor vehicle near the intersection of Route 34 and Old Mill Road, so they went to the area to investigate.
Police said that when they arrived, they found a physically damaged Dodge pickup truck at that location, which had apparently been involved in an accident.
Police said they investigated and then charged motorist Craig Middendorf, 38, of Southbury with driving under the influence and with traveling too fast for conditions.
After processing, police released Middendorf on $500 bail for a December 18 court appearance.
Ford Off Road
Motorist William Frampton, 18, of 6 Pebble Road was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer southward on Orchard Hill Road about 10 am December 2, when while traveling uphill, he lost control of the vehicle on the snowy road, and went off the right road shoulder, hitting a stone wall and a tree near 50 Orchard Hill Road, police said.
Frampton was not injured. Police issued him an infraction ticket for traveling too fast for conditions.
Mazda into Wall
About 11 am December 3, motorist Nicole Benzinger, 17, of 4 Wills Road was driving a 1996 Mazda sedan southward on South Main Street, after which she attempted to make a left turn onto Peckâs Lane at its southern intersection with South Main Street, but failed to negotiate that turn and went off the road, striking an embankment and a stone wall, police said.
Benzinger was not injured. Police said she made a restricted turn.
Property Damage
About 1:30 am November 28, an unknown dark red vehicle struck a residential mailbox at 14 Grand Place, after which it drove off eastward on that street, police said. The vehicle should have damage to its right-side exterior rear-view mirror. Police ask anyone with information on the matter to contact them at 426-5841.
Lexus Vs Deer
About 6 pm November 27, motorist Charles Rote, 50, of Cobblers Mill Road was driving a 2004 Lexus sedan northward near 43 Bennetts Bridge Road, when a deer jumped onto the pavement, police said. The auto and the deer collided. The deer then ran off. The auto was heavily damaged. Rote was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Flagpole Intersection
Police report a two-car accident at the hazardous Main Street flagpole intersection about 9:10 pm November 24.
Motorist Brendan Hintzen, 18, of 15 Main Street, who was driving a 2002 Nissan Altima sedan, was attempting to turn left from eastbound West Street onto northbound Main Street, as motorist Brian Carroll, 17, of 3 Pheasant Ridge Road was driving a 1999 Subaru Legacy sedan northward on Main Street, police said.
The two autos collided. There were no injuries. Police issued Hintzen a written warning for a right of way violation.
Warrant
After learning that police held a warrant for her arrest, Jennie Iodice, 19, of 8 Arlyn Ridge Road went to the police station on the afternoon of December 4 and was charged with failure to respond to an infraction stemming from an original violation of possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.
Police said Danbury Superior Court issued the warrant on November 7, in connection with Iodiceâs having been issued the infraction ticket last May 5.
Iodice was one of eight youths who were charged with that offense at a 35 Horseshoe Ridge Road house party at the Gissen residence, which was held after the Newtown High School Prom.
After posting $181 bail, police released Iodice from custody for a December 18 court appearance.
Littering
Police said they saw a youth throw a plastic wrapper from the front passenger window of a coupe traveling northward on Queen Street at about 12:30 am on December 2, so they stopped the vehicle to investigate.
Police said they issued a male youth from Monroe a littering infraction ticket for the offense. Because the youth is under age 18, police did not disclose his identity.
Dodge Vs Deer
About 6:10 am November 29, motorist Jay Murry, 44, of Danbury was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon southward near 79 Main Street, when a deer ran out onto the road, police said. The auto and the deer collided. Murry was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Hawleyville Crash
Police report a two-car accident at the intersection of Hawleyville Road and Mt Pleasant Road about 12:15 am December 2.
The collision involved motorist Fausto Pomavilla, 27, of Danbury, who was driving a 2005 Honda Accord sedan, and motorist Antonio Liverio, 18, of Danbury, who was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina sedan, police said.
There were no injuries. Police said they issued Pomavilla a traffic control signal violation. Police said they issued Liverio a driverâs license violation.
Mirror-To-Mirror
Police report an accident in which the left, exterior rear-view mirrors of two vehicles collided with one another while the vehiclesâ drivers were traveling in opposite directions near 329 Berkshire Road at about 7:40 am December 3.
 The accident involved motorist Reynaldo Guzman, 31, of Danbury, who was driving eastward on Berkshire Road, and motorist Randi Cuccaro, 24, of Oxford, who was traveling westward on Berkshire Road, police said.
There were no injuries. No enforcement action was taken.
SUV Vs SUV
Police report that Marc Moss, 44, of Monroe, N.Y., was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer owned by Danbury Ambulance, with its emergency lights and siren activated, eastward on Wasserman Way about 7:16 am December 5.
Moss then attempted to turn right onto Route 34, but collided with a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Beth Genovese, 48, of 26 Baldwin Road, police said.
There were no injuries, police said. Moss received a verbal warning for making a restricted turn, police said.
Altercation
Police said they responded to a report of an altercation at 55 Capitol Drive in Sandy Hook about 7 pm December 5.
After investigating, police charged both Kirk Andersen, 24, of that address, and David Kaza, 25, also of that address, each with disorderly conduct and with third-degree criminal mischief.
Police released Andersen on a written promise to appear in court on December 19. Kaza was released on $1,000 bail for a court appearance on that date.
