The Danbury Dream Team has challenged the internationally acclaimed Puerto Rican Pride hoopsters to a showdown at the Pal Athletic Center on Saturday, December 8, at 6 pm.
The Danbury Dream Team has challenged the internationally acclaimed Puerto Rican Pride hoopsters to a showdown at the Pal Athletic Center on Saturday, December 8, at 6 pm.
A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Family and Childrenâs Aid, a Danbury based non-profit agency that assists the areaâs abused and disenfranchised.
The Danbury Dream Team challengers are coached by George Anderson, former Abbott Tech point guard.
The illustrious hometown squad includes E.J. Harris, member of UConnâs 1999 menâs championship team, Trevon Little and John Weir of Keane State, Casey Bock, DeWayne Dickens and Rudy McCarley of WSCU and crowd-favorite Quaney Hesser, who played with Danbury High.
Tickets are $l5 for adults, $7 for children under 10 years of age and may be purchased at the door.
