The Danbury Dream Team has challenged the internationally acclaimed Puerto Rican Pride hoopsters to a showdown at the Pal Athletic Center on Saturday, December 8, at 6 pm.

A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Family and Children’s Aid, a Danbury based non-profit agency that assists the area’s abused and disenfranchised.

The Danbury Dream Team challengers are coached by George Anderson, former Abbott Tech point guard.

The illustrious hometown squad includes E.J. Harris, member of UConn’s 1999 men’s championship team, Trevon Little and John Weir of Keane State, Casey Bock, DeWayne Dickens and Rudy McCarley of WSCU and crowd-favorite Quaney Hesser, who played with Danbury High.

Tickets are $l5 for adults, $7 for children under 10 years of age and may be purchased at the door.
