Dorothea V. Gibbons

Dorothy V. (Reed) Gibbons, 81, a homemaker, died December 6 in Haborside Health Care Glen Hill in Danbury.

She is survived by a son, Paul E. Gibbons, and his wife, Lorraine, of Sandy Hook.

Mrs Gibbons was born in Bridgeport, and was a lifelong area resident. She was predeceased by her second husband, William Joseph Gibbons, and her first husband, Stanley Krajewski.

Survivors include another son, Douglas R. Gibbons, and his wife, Barbara Krajewski; three stepdaughters, Lois Moore of Bristol, Geraldine Fulkerson of Ohio, and Betty Mahoney of Madison; and two grandchildren, Meghan and Eric Gibbons. She was predeceased by her brother, David Reed, and her sister, Euella Jones.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, December 8, at noon in the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery.

Calling hours were scheduled on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
