The Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP) has added a new event in its 2018 Celebrate the Season series. 

Pictures With Santa is being arranged for Saturday, December 8, from 11 am until 3 pm.

The kid-friendly, family event will be offered on the porch at 1 Riverside Road. 

Children are invited to have their photo taken with Santa and tell him what their biggest request is for Christmas. The digital photos created on Saturday will be e-mailed to parents or guardians.

There is no charge for the photos, but donations will be accepted for the proposed Heritage Park & Trail and FAITH Food Pantry. 

The [naviga:u]2018 Sandy Hook Holiday Ornament[/naviga:u] and Sandy Hook Center lamppost adoptions will also be available for purchase during the event with Santa.
