‘Unity & Diversity’ Programs Preview

Unity and Diversity, a cable television program that can be seen by residents of 14 towns in the greater Newtown area, is an educational experience in learning about one’s neighbors, especially through a clearer understanding of their religious heritage, spiritual values, and human culture.

Upcoming programs and their topics will include the following: December 8 and 10, the Reverend Ivan Pitts, pastor, New Hope Baptist Church, in Danbury; December 15 and 17, Pastor Gregory Wismar, Christ the King Lutheran Church, in Newtown; December 22 and 24, Sister Francis Smalkowski, chaplain, The Pope John Health Center in Danbury.

The program producer and host is the Reverend Leo McIlrath, coordinator of Corpus Christi: An Ecumenical Catholic Faith Community.
