Beloved Wife And Mother

Brenda M. Schlesinger, 49, beloved wife of Joseph D. Schlesinger of Newtown, died December 1 in Stamford Hospital, after a long illness. She was born in Quebec, Canada, on December 2, 1959, a daughter of K. Bernice (Keogan) Stewart of Newtown, and the late James Stewart.

Ms Schlesinger was a resident of Newtown for five years and had previously resided on Long Island. She was a member of the Irish Wolfhound Society.

In addition to her husband and mother, Ms Schlesinger is survived by a daughter, Kristal Schlesinger of Queens, N.Y., and a son, Michael Schlesinger of Newtown; a brother, Alex Stewart and his wife, Denise, of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and a sister, Diane Croiser and her husband, Wayne, of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held December 4. Cremation will be private.
