‘A Holiday Gathering’

Returning To Olszewski Home

After moving away from its original location for two sessions, A Holiday Gathering is returning to its home: The home of Stacey Olszewski, the creator of the holiday showcase of fine arts and crafts by regional artisans. The fifth annual A Holiday Gathering… at Home will return to 4 Old Green Road in Sandy Hook over the weekend of December 5-7. The special event be open on Friday, December 5, from noon to 5 pm; Saturday, December 6, from 9 am to 5 pm; and Sunday, December 7, 10 am to 4 pm. It will feature fine hand-crafted gifts, collectibles and gift baskets from more than a dozen area artists. Among the offerings by regional artists will be painted bowls, boards and containers; Santa painted on driftwood from Lake Lillinonah, shown here; quilling and folk art; Goatboy Soaps, photography, ornaments, bark candy, felted handbags, hand carved heirlooms, handmade jewelry, handmade shawls, and American Girl-size doll clothing.
