Middle Gate Families Have Fun At Pajama And Stuffie Night
Middle Gate Elementary School families had fun listening to story times together at the school’s Pajama and Stuffie Night on Wednesday, November 13.
Middle Gate PTA hosted Pajama and Stuffie Night to coincide with Scholastic Book Fair Week, and also celebrate November being National Family Literacy Month. Families had the opportunity to shop the book fair, listen to three story times, and have a photo session conducted by Sea Siren Photography and PTA Vice President, Sarah DeVellis Adams.
Parent and PTA member Dorin McBride led the story time with The Pigeon Will Ride the Roller Coaster by Mo Willems, followed by The Good Egg by Jory John. Middle Gate Parent and PTA recording secretary, Jessica Galterio, read Salt In His Shoes by Michael Jordan’s mother, Deloris Jordan, and his sister Roslyn Jordan.
A complimentary hot chocolate bar was provided by Kash & Liv Coffee Creations.
As Book Fair Chair, Nerlande Foote said she was happy with how everything went and that it was great to see “something that brought her such nostalgia as a kid, with a twist.”
“The kids were engaged, happy, and loved hanging out in their pajamas with their peers,” Foote said.
