Scott L. Gellis, 67, of Hillsborough, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, November 22.

Scott was born in Queens, N.Y., to Glenn and Florence Goodhart Gellis.

A devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather, Scott is survived by his wife, Elissa; daughter, Rebecca (John) Bungert; grandson, John “JB” Bungert; brother, Brad (Kathy) Gellis; and sister, Erica Strom.

He attended and graduated from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y.

A longtime resident of Newtown, Scott retired from Bentley Systems, Inc and relocated with Elissa to Hillsborough, N.C., to begin their retirement in earnest.

In accordance with Scott’s wishes there will not be a funeral.
