SOUTHBURY — What best exemplifies the holiday spirit more than a book about love, gratitude, and joy?

Local artist Rose Petruzzi  has created a charming book about discovering this wonder all around us, in the picture book, Did I Tell You I Love You Today?

Although she included her rescued miniature poodle, Poodie as the main observer, her book appeals to dog lovers, children and adults alike. The author says her book’s message is universal.

A book signing will be held 2:30 pm on Saturday, December 12, at Koenig’s Art Emporium in Southbury Plaza, 100 Main Street North.

Ms Petruzzi will also be starting a new session of “Open Studio” on Wednesday, January 8, from 6 to 8:30 pm. All are invited to attend who are committed to engaging their creative selves for the highest good. Information about the series will be available during the December book signing.
