In Vandalism Spree
Police said they have arrested a total of six 19-year-old men each on a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree criminal mischief in connection with a July incident involving an aggregate of approximately $2,500 in property damage at 15 residential properties in the area of Horseshoe Ridge Road and Old Farm Hill Road.
Police said that at about 1:30 am on Thursday, July 29, they received a complaint concerning people damaging curbside residential mailboxes and other personal property along those roads.
A police investigation headed by Patrol Officer Michael McGowan resulted in police obtaining six arrest warrants for the defendants.
After learning that police held arrest warrants for them, all six men turned themselves over to police and were arrested. Each person was released on $100 bail on the felony charge.
The last of the six arrests that police made in the case occurred on November 24. In that matter, police charged John Grimaldi of 185 Walnut Tree Hill Road.
Other men who have been charged are: Jamie Vavrek of 9 Stone Fence Lane; Ricardo Gallucci of 14 Brennan Road; Cole DePuy of 5 Stony Brook Road; Ethan Carotti of 86 Great Ring Road, and Anthony Lucia of 36 Huntingtown Road.
As of November 29, the criminal charges were still pending against all six men.
