Softball Winter Training

Newtown Softball is conducting a series of Winter Training Clinics at the Newtown Youth Academy. The clinics are open to all Newtown girls ages 5 and up who have an interest in practicing throughout the winter months.

Paul Massotta and Dennis Christopher will team up for catching, hitting, and fielding instruction at the intermediate level. Both are current high school coaches and are former Elite Travel coaches at the youth level. Beginner level training will be conducted by experienced Newtown Softball program coaches. Pitching instruction will be provided by Cathy Byrne, former Newtown High School and Division I collegiate player. 

Clinics will be held on Saturdays from 5-6:30 pm beginning January. Visit www.newtownsoftball.org for more information about registration. Players are asked to register early to ensure a spot.
