‘Unity In Diversity’ December Programs

Corpus Christi Faith Community will present Unity In Diversity with host Reverend Leo McIlrath of Newtown on Charter Cable Television, Channel 21.

On Monday, December 6, and Wednesday, December 8, the program will feature the Rev Dr Paul Beavers, director of pastoral care at Danbury Hospital. Deacon Richard Kovacs of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport will be seen on December 13 and 15.

On December 20 and 22, the Rev Larry Aboona Jensen of St Anthony Maronite Church in Danbury will share about the history, creed, liturgy, and other particulars of the Maronite (Eastern) tradition of Catholicism. Completing the December programs, viewers may experience, first hand, the Shelter of the Cross on December 27 and 29 and the Dorothy Day House of Hospitality on January 3 and 5, with guests, Karen Messina and Dr Paul Hines, respectively.

Each week, programs will be aired at noon on Mondays and at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays. Comcast Cable 23 will air these and other Unity In Diversity programs on Wednesdays, at 6 pm, and on Fridays, at noon.

Guests will present a history of each specific tradition, creedal formulae and liturgical rites, special celebrations, and community action initiatives.
