Three Weekends Of Christmas

In Monroe

MONROE — Monroe Historical Society will be holding its annual Christmas Fair on Friday and Saturday, December 3-4, and Saturday, December 11, at its 1790 one room schoolhouse.

The fair will be open from 10 am to 4 pm most days, with extended hours on December 3 until 8 pm.

This year’s special feature will be a huge collection of vintage ornaments donated especially for the sale by society members.  There will also be a raffle for a tree from Jones Tree Farm and a framed David Merrill print of Monroe Green.

A variety of new Christmas ornaments, decorated sleds, Grandma’s Attic with small vintage collectibles, baked goods, historical society cookbooks, coverlets and many other unique items will also be available.

All proceeds from the fair will support Monroe Historical Society and help in maintaining its three historic buildings in Monroe.
