Season’s Readings: A Book Drive

DANBURY — Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton will help Barnes & Noble Booksellers kick off its Seasons Readings Book Drive by being the guest reading during a story time on Sunday, December 5, at 3 pm.

Mayor Boughton will read stories about Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa and the Danbury Square store, on Backus Avenue. Donations to the book drive will benefit children in the Even Start program of Danbury Public Schools, The Danbury Regional Child Advocacy Center, Inc, and an English class at the Alternative Center for Excellence in Danbury.
