DANBURY â Dream Come True of Western Connecticut is seeking donations of childrenâs gifts to be distributed at its Annual Dream Recipientâs Breakfast with Santa and Mrs Claus on December 11 at the Holiday Inn in Danbury.
All children who have received a dream from Dream Come True are invited to attend the event with their siblings and other family members. Each child, dream recipients and siblings, receives a wrapped, personalized gift from Santa and Mrs Claus, suitable to the childâs age.
This year the organization is soliciting games and other activities appropriate for girls and boys from 6 through 12 years of age, as well as $15 gift certificates from Borders Book Stores to be given to the older children attending the breakfast. Donations can be dropped off now through Monday, December 6, at the Maron Hotel, 42 Lake Avenue extension, Danbury, off of Exit 4 on I-84. Monetary donations in lieu of gifts can be sent to Dream Come True, PO Box 2415, Danbury CT 06813.
Dream Come True of Western Connecticut was established in 1984 and is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that fulfills between 10 and 20 dreams a year to seriously, chronically, and terminally ill children in Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven counties.
