Choral Society’s Winter Concert Will Be Dec. 11

Newtown Choral Society, now in its eighteenth year and under the direction of Mary Andreotta, will present Geoffrey Bush’s In Praise of Mary as the highlight of its winter concert.

The concert will be on Saturday, December 11, beginning at 7:30 pm. It will be performed at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street in Newtown.

Also on the program will be Randall Thompson’s Alleluia and Mozart’s Regina Coeli. The concert will also include “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “Going to Bethlehem,” “Go Where I Send Thee” and other songs of the season.

Accompanying the choir will be Todd Gorski.
