NHS Runner Earns All Northeast Accolades

Newtown High School’s Jake Feinstein ended his cross country season with a strong showing at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional Championships at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, N.Y. Feinstein finished the 5K course in 23rd place in a time of 16:36. This result earned Feinstein All Northeast Honors.

Feinstein was Newtown High’s top runner this fall. The junior was second among 163 runners in the Class LL state championships and fifth among 180 State Open finishers.
