To the Editor:

The firefighters of Newtown, under the organizational leadership of Karen Halstead, successfully completed their annual Thanksgiving food drive. For the 11th consecutive year the drive was a huge success.

The Big Y and Stop & Shop also contributed to the success of the drive. My Place fed the FAITH volunteers as they worked tirelessly restocking the shelves. 

Many, many, thanks to the people of Newtown. You not only filled our cupboards, you filled our hearts.
