What is your reaction to the first snowfall of the season? Asked at Newtown Middle School.

Jeanne Bugay: “I would have to say that the deer had a good Thanksgiving because I always cover my bushes over the Thanksgiving weekend and with the snow I didn’t get a chance to. The deer nibbled by bushes.”

Anne Scarpa: “I love the snow. I don’t mind the snow because I grew up in Vermont.”

Susan Connelly: “I like the first snowfall. It lets you know winter is really here.”

Ashley Perry: “It makes me want to go out snowboarding.”

Sarah Pettinelli: “I want to go out and play with my friends.”

Tom DeBendetto: “My first reaction would be excitement; snowmen and snowballs and maybe a school delay.”
