Sharpshooters At The Turkey Shoot

Shane and Patty Powers took home a turkey last week for their efforts at the annual Turkey Shoot sponsored by the Newtown Parks and Recreation Department. The Powers scored 46 points in the 5-and-under division, just slipping past Kevin and Connor Barrett. In the 6- to 8-year-old division it was Jim and Michael Parker finishing first with 40 points and Michael and Trane Kessler finishing second with 34 points. In the 9- to 10-year-old division it was Bob and Sean Elliott winning with 44 points with Bill and Stephen Conway coming in second with 42 points. And in the 11- to 12-year-old division it was Michael and Matthew Madden winning with 38 points as Stephen and Christian Sayegh came in second with 35 points.
