Shared Her Love Of   Traveling With Family

Anna Elizabeth Kent, 88, wife of the late Clarence Kent, of Bridgeport, died November 29 in Trumbull.

She is survived by her brother Robert Tanner and his wife, Janet, of Newtown; her sister, Eleanor Scire and her husband, William, of Stratford; sons, John Kent and his wife, Carol, of New Milford and Robert Kent of Bridgeport. She also leaves her grandchildren, Barbara Lovello of New Milford, John Kent, Jr, and his fiancée, Christina Reddington, of New Milford, along with Jay, Eric, and Christopher Johnson of Florida. She was preceded in death by her brothers John and Richard Tanner, as well as a daughter, Lillian Fontaine.

Mrs Kent was a lifetime resident of the Bridgeport area. She was a kind-hearted person who spent many years opening her home to children who were wards of the state. She enjoyed sharing her love for travel with her family, often bringing her children and grandchildren on adventures throughout the United States.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, December 2, at the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. Burial will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield. The family will receive friends at the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home on Friday from 8 to 10 am.
