Harrison Schreiner, a first grade student at the Sandy Hook School, recently won from the state of Connecticut the No. 1 ranking in the BMX six-year-old expert class. Harrison, who has been racing BMX since he was four, is No. 6 in the northeast and No. 21 in the nation in his age group. Harrison and his brothers, Geoff and Blake, who are each top 10 national riders, will be competing in a state versus state race in Ohio on Christmas. Harrison rides for the Bicycle Goodie Shop, owned by Joe and Linda Villafano of Newtown, and managed by Marc Cartisano.
