WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Phillips Collection will present a lecture on Thursday, December 20, “Travels with van Gogh and the Impressionists,” at 6:30 pm.

Lin Arison’s memoir chronicles her journey through France in search of the lives and works of the impressionists. Arison and photographer Neil Folberg will discuss their collaboration and the challenge of reinterpreting impressionist art through photography. Following the lecture, they will sign copies of the book.
