Police Make Arrest Based On Internet Communications
Police report that on November 27, they charged Hector Loor, 29, of Waterbury on a warrant with criminal attempt to commit risk of injury to a minor in connection with Loorâs alleged activity on the Internet.
âThis investigation involved communications through the use of computers,â police said in a terse statement. The investigation started last May.
Police said Loor posted $25,000 bail for arraignment on the charges December 4 in Danbury Superior Court.
 Detective Jason Frank made the arrest. Det Frank has conducted a continuing series of investigations into Internet predators. In those cases, Det Frank poses as an underage female in chat rooms on the Internet, which the accused persons then allegedly seek to meet for illicit purposes.
