Helen B. Vetromile

Helen B. Vetromile, 89, of Wilton, formerly of Westport and Weston and wife of the late Peter Vetromile, died November 23 in Wilton Meadows Health Care Center.

She was the mother of Barbara H. Chamberlain of Newtown.

Mrs Vetromile was born in Norwalk, daughter of the late Louis and Clara (Wolf) Brehm, and had been a lifelong area resident. Prior to retiring she owned and operated Marvel’s Bake Shop in Westport and Peter’s Spirit Shop in Weston. Mrs Vetromile was also a member of the Christ and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Westport.

In addition to her daughter, survivors include one brother, Louis Brehm of Norwalk; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one niece and four nephews.

Memorial services were held November 29 in Christ and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 75 Church Lane, Westport, with the Rev John H. Branson, III, officiating. Private interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, Westport.

The Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
