Frances Capozziello
Frances Theresa Capozziello, 70, beloved wife of the late John Capozziello, died November 28 at her home in Sandy Hook following a brief illness.
She was the mother of John Capozziello, Jr, Gary Capozziello and Kim Capozziello of Newtown.
She was born in Throop, Penn. on January 30, 1929, a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Rosen.
Mrs Capozziello was a homemaker and a resident of Sandy Hook for 32 years. She retired from the Union Camp Container Company of Newtown after 16 years of employment as a machinist.
In addition to her sons, survivors include two other sons, Richard Capozziello of Monroe and Corrie Capozziello of Virginia; three daughters, Valerie Thaler of Ridgefield, and Deborah Burkey and Francine DiMone of Danbury; a sister, Pearl Mastriano of East Haven; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Betty Walsh and Dorothy Belknape.
Funeral services were held November 30 from the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Route 111, Monroe, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown, at the convenience of the family.
