Decorating For Wildlife

DERBY — The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection’s Kellogg Environmental Center will hold “Decorating For Wildlife,” a workshop for families or individuals, on Thursday, December 9 at 6 pm.

Participants will learn how to make outdoor holiday decorations that will enhance a yard and attract and benefit wildlife. Registration is required and a $5 donation per household is requested to cover the cost of supplies. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

To register, 203/734-2513 Tuesday through Saturday between 9 am and 4:30 pm. The Center, operated by the DEP’s Office of Communications and Education, is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue (Route 34).
