DERBY — The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection’s Kellogg Environmental Center will hold a “Crafts From Nature” workshop on Saturday, December 11 from 10 am to noon.

Adults and families will learn how to make their own paper cards, ornaments, candles and more. Take a holiday break for stories and fun.

Registration is required and a $5 donation per household is requested to cover the cost of supplies. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

To register, 203/734-2513 Tuesday through Saturday between 9 am and 4:30 pm. The Center, operated by DEP office of Communications and Education, is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue (Route 34).
