The Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road, offered its first Smile Cards program on Monday, November 26.

Instructor Wendy Smith showed participants how to assemble the sayings and embellishments from a variety of holiday card kits.

Each designer created five cards, for a $10 fee, and was able to keep all of their creations.
