BROOKFIELD – Animal Angels Rescue Foundation will be holding an adoption event on Saturday, December 4, 11 am to 3 pm, at PETCO, at 168 Federal Road in Brookfield.

Also, AARF has many adorable, abandoned animals in need of a loving home. The following is just a small sampling of the animals awaiting adoption:

BUDDY – A male, shepherd neutered sheltie/beagle mix . . . mellow and sweet . . . 40 pounds, three years old . . . loves everyone . . . housebroken . . . loves to walk.

ASHLEY – Beautiful 18-month old spayed female shepherd/akita mix . . . reddish brown . . . 50 pounds . . . loyal and loving, but not good with other animals . . . needs home with young adults.

BANDIT – Tan shepherd mix . . . male, neutered, one year old . . . loves people, kids and other animals.

ANNIE – Bassett hound/sharpei mix . . . 18 months old, spayed female . . . loves everyone, but not great with other animals . . . desperately needs home.

CROSBY – Sweetest shepherd/hound mix . . . tan male, neutered . . . 50 pounds, one year old . . .  great temperament, great family dog.
