Stamp Art Workshop

C.H. Booth Library’s Young Adult Department has rescheduled its upcoming Winter & Decorative Stamp Art Workshop for Wednesday, December 10. (The workshop was originally planned for December 3.)

Young readers can get ready for the winter holidays when Barbara Shohet guides them in making and decorating greeting cards, small gift bags and boxes, and a writing portfolio complete with paper and pen, all with a festive winter or holiday theme. Participants will be delighted with the professional results that can be produced with the huge variety of rubber stamps, decorating tools and special papers Mrs Shohet will be bringing with her. Attendees can make some holiday gifts or something for themselves.

The workshop is for students in grades five and up. It will run from 4 to 6 pm. There is a $5 supply fee, which can be paid for the afternoon of the workshop, but advance registration is strongly suggested as space is limited to just 15 students.
