SCAN Is Offering A Life Drawing Session

The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will hold a life drawing session with a professional model, open to the public, on Wednesday, December 3, from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm. The session will run in the lower level meeting room of Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street in Newtown (at the flagpole).

The session is open to the public. Cost is $7 per person.

Artists should bring their own sketch material or paints. There will be approximately ten poses varying from short five minute to twenty minute poses.  It is not necessary to call ahead.

SCAN, organized approximately 35 years ago, is a not-for-profit art organization incorporated to serve artists in and around Fairfield and Litchfield counties as well as eastern New York. Membership includes painters in a variety of media including printmakers and sculptors. SCAN also offers workshops of one day to week-long durations with artists of national prominence.
