To Sell Christmas Trees
The Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will start its annual Christmas tree sale at the Sandy Hook Firehouse on Riverside Road on Friday, November 28. Tree sales are scheduled to start at noon and run to 9 pm on that day.
The fire company also will be selling Christmas wreathes and poinsettias.
In the weeks leading to Christmas, the fire company will be selling the Christmas items on Thursdays and Fridays from 6 to 9 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm. Christmas trees range in height from five feet to eight feet tall. Tree prices start at approximately $40. The freshly cut trees were grown in Andover.
The sale is a fundraiser for the volunteer fire company.
